The Multicultural Advocacy Club celebrated the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos at the end of October. Students decorated pumpkins with the traditional sugar pumpkin skulls decor. In addition, the staff of Pomptonian combined efforts with the students and prepared a Mexican themed lunch. During this special lunch students and staff were invited to write the name of a loved one on a banner that will be hung up as a remembrance, which is also part of this holiday's tradition.
