Seal of Biliteracy Recipients - 2021

 Congratulations to our 2021 recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy. These students have demonstrated proficiency in a language in addition to English. Winners passed a standardized test in Arabic, Polish, Spanish, or Portuguese. They will receive special distinction on their college transcripts and were honored at the June Board of Ed Meeting.

Teen Driving Safety Contest Winners

Congratulations to the several students from NAHS participated in a virtual Teen Driving Safety Series last night. The students, Arancha Antunes, Breanna Sullivan, Gabby Kaminski, and Jenna Santos had an opportunity to learn safe driving tips along with getting a chance to meet other teens from around the county.  The event concluded with the annual poster contest sponsored by  Hackensack Medical Center and State Farm Insurance. This competition had many submissions from high school students throughout Bergen County including several of our own students. NAHS had two winners!!!!

NAHS Recognizes Epilepsy Awareness Day

 The SADD/Interact Club organized a school-wide "wear purple day" to recognize Epilepsy Awareness Day. Many students and teachers wore purple to show their support and club members were outside decorating the school with purple ribbons as well. Thank you Mrs. Gagliano for organizing!

NAHS is Awarded a Grant from 7-11

 Thanks to Sherry and all those at the River Road 7-11 for awarding NAHS the "Project A-Game"  Grant. The money will be used to purchase equipment for our student-athletes to train outdoors and socially distant.
