Extra Halloween Candy Goes to the Troops!

 The SADD/Interact Club collected excess Halloween candy and donated it to Soldiers’ Angels Treats for Troops!  This candy will be distributed to United States Military serving around the world.

Congratulations to the Characters with Character! Students are nominated by faculty members for serving as a positive example to the school community and exhibiting exemplary character for others to model. Given the hybrid learning environment, students were notified by Mr. Kenny via email and sent selfies for the picture. Students will still be honored with a certificate of recognition from our State Senator and their names displayed on the digital board in front of school. This month's winners are (from left to right): Jenalie Matarama (11), Amy Roufaeil (11) and Adam Soto (10).

Astrophotographs!

This is a picture of Saturn that was captured picture with a Canon EOS Rebel T6 digital camera attached to a laptop. The color is due to hydrogen and helium in the atmosphere. 

The picture below with the cloud bands is Jupiter. The atmosphere shows the "banding" because the planet is very windy due to rapid rotation, and the alternating dark and light colors are produced by ascending and descending atmospheric currents.

Congratulations Joey Witt - North Jersey Football Player of the Week!

Senior Quarterback/Defensive Back, Joey Witt has been voted the North Jersey Football Player of the Week for his performance against Fort Lee on October 30th in the Vikings' 28-26 win over the Bridgemen. Great Job Joey!
